Well ... I guess this thing needs an 'opening post'. I've decided to start this blog for a number of (completely selfish) reasons:
1. I've been thinking about it for ages and never quite got around to it
2. I'd like to rave about my own abilities and advertise the fact that I can and will write about just about anything. Go on - I dare you to ask me if I'll do it ;)
3. I recently signed up for my first (but hopefully far from last) NaNoWriMo event, and this blog will hopefully act as not only a fantastic procrastinating tool, but also a good way to keep others updated on progress. That's providing anyone is interested of course ...
Well, now all you have to do is sit back, grab a drink (there's some in the fridge), and wait for the loquaciousness to start. For those that know me well, you will also know that it won't take long ...
